Anna Kolesnichenko

Associate Fellow

Anna is a multidisciplinary economist, working at intersection of economics and democracy and international relations, complimented by a solid experience in banking.  She started her career at the CASE think-tank in Ukraine, specialising in fiscal and monetary policy and later European integration.  Later she had short-term engagements in several international organizations and banks: NATO Parliamentary Assembly (Brussels), Center for Strategic and Internationals Studies (CSIS, Washington), ING bank and Bear Stearns bank (London). From 2009 to 2020, Anna worked in different roles in the area of strategic analysis and monitoring of the bank performance in UniCredit bank in Vienna.

Anna holds MA in Economics from EERC/Kyiv-Mohyla Academy (Ukraine) and MA in International Relations from School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) at Johns Hopkins University (USA).
