José Emilio Gumiel

José Emilio Gumiel is Principal Economist at the European Central Bank. He is an applied macroeconomist with extensive experience in forecasting. He started his career at the Bank of Spain in 1996 and moved to the ECB in 1999, where he shaped the work of several departments, including DG-Statistics, DG-Research and DG-Economics.
