Regional Conflicts, Global Consequences: Democracies vs Autocracies

GLOBSEC will hold a conference on “Regional Conflicts, Global Consequences: Democracies vs Autocracies” on 1 December 2022 in Bratislava, Slovakia. The conference is organized in the framework of cooperation between GLOBSEC and the Taipei Representative Office in Bratislava.

The conference aims to provide a platform for debates between state officials, business leaders, thinkers, and academicians from Taiwan and Central and Eastern European countries on some of the most imminent threats the CEE region is currently facing.

The conference will host 2-panel discussions and an exclusive interview with Dr. Ming-Yen Tsai, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of China (Taiwan). The panel discussion will feature guests from the CEE region and will focus on the global contest between democracies and autocracies, and global supply chains in the face of war.
