Vasyl Povoroznyk
Senior Fellow at Ukraine and Eastern Europe Programme
A Senior Fellow at the GLOBSEC Ukraine and Eastern Europe Programme. His current research focus is issues of regional development and decentralization in war- and post-war period.
Since 2014, Vasyl has worked in leading Ukrainian think-tanks, where he successfully implemented a number of international projects in the economic sphere. He also has the experience of working as an Editor-in-Chief in economic magazine, an investment analyst, and more than 10 years of experience in teaching economic disciplines in Ukrainian universities.
Professional interests include public finance management, decentralization reform, issues of regional development, macroeconomics.
He holds a Ph.D and MA in Economics from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (Ukraine).
