1 – 3 December
As an exclusive annual gathering, the GLOBSEC Château Béla Central European Strategic Forum provides a unique platform for structured dialogue, where key policy makers, thinkers and business leaders from different fields and countries gather to discuss current challenges, ideas and solutions. The Central and Eastern European region stands in the spotlight and plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of the region, Europe and beyond. The Forum includes informal fireside debates, dinner and lunch discussions, several thematic breakout sessions and closed-door meetings. Owing to the smaller number of guests, informal atmosphere of the venue and Chatham House Rule, the Forum fosters open and vigorous debates.
Every year the GLOBSEC Château Béla Central European Strategic Forum brings together leading political representatives, key decision makers, experts from influential think tanks and academia who contribute significantly to developments in international affairs. Over the years, the list of guests has included Alexander Schallenberg, Jan Lipavský, John Allen, Anne Applebaum, Ivan Korčok, Karin von Hippel, Michael Chertoff, Laura Rosenberger, Philippe Étienne, Miroslav Lajčák, Alina Polyakova, Kurt Volker, Damon Wilson, Dan Fried, and many other distinguished stakeholders.
